Southern Division Final Day Permutations

With one round of games left in the Southern Division, Cobh Ramblers and Limerick FC will both be hopeful of wrapping up the title.  Ramblers are two points and two goals better off than Limerick, who are first and second respectively in the Division.  The following are the fixtures and permutations for the final day.

Fixtures Week-Ending Sunday April 1st

Athlone Town v Limerick FC

Cobh Ramblers v Tralee Dynamos

Galway United v FC Carlow

 

Permutations

COBH RAMBLERS:

  • A win against Tralee and Cobh are Champions
  • A draw will see them finish first or second, dependant on goal difference
  • A defeat and Limerick will win the title with victory over Athlone Town

LIMERICK FC:

  • A win for Limerick coupled with a defeat for Cobh Ramblers will see Limerick crowned Champions
  • A draw and Limerick will be Runners-Up
  • A defeat will see Limerick finish second or third, dependant on goal difference from Tralee Dynamos
  • If Tralee Dynamos drop any points against Cobh Ramblers, Limerick are guaranteed at least Runners-Up
