WE WANT YOU!

We recently launched a survey to find out what is good and bad about the service we provide.  While the survey itself will remain live for another week, it is clear that there is much to do.  There will be an article posted after the survey has ended analysing the results and replying to some of the comments received.  This website, along with our various social network services, are provided voluntarily by a tiny team to help provide the many players, mentors, supporters, etc. with a vested interest in the FAI Under-19 League, with the most accurate information possible.  To get to the standard that we would like to be at, we need help.  We need YOU!

With this in mind, we are looking to expand our team of volunteers to help us achieve this.  If you have some time to spare each week and feel you can help us out then see the list below of areas we need to cover and improve on:

  • Match Reporters
  • Photographers
  • Graphic Designers
  • Web Technicians
  • Bloggers
  • Interviewers
  • Social Network Updaters

We would also like to have one point of contact within each Club that can provide us with regular information from the Club, but particularly weekly fixture details, alterations and live match updates (can just be goal flashes, etc).

Finally, it is our intention to build and launch a brand new website and move away from a blogging type of site.  This, however, costs money and we will therefore be looking to bring on board a strategic partner that could assist with the running costs of maintaining such a site.  To re-iterate again, this site never has been, and never will be, for profit making.  However, to get the service to a more professional level, some financial input is required.  Therefore, if you, or someone you know, may be interested in coming on board in this capacity, please get in touch.

If you feel any of the above roles are for you, and that you can bring a passion to the team, then please e-mail us at loi19@live.ie and we can start to develop and build for the future.
